Rolling along

Almost back to full time half time at work. Currently working 4 afternoons a week. I'll add in the 5th day next week, so will be working 20 hours a week for a while.

Still on O2, I can tell when I forget to turn it up at night for sleep (I hook it into my CPAP). Will be seeing a sleep specialist to see about titrating off it. Still doing the nebulizer twice a day.

My garden is done for the year. Managed a few tomatoes from it, the sweet peppers never had a chance. I am definitely going to see about starting seeds really early this next year, maybe in February. I do have my wildflower garden started:

I only had enough cardboard and soil to fill in a bit, but it is a start. I was given a couple pots of Hellebore plants and I was able to split them each in two. One was definitely pink, the other might be pink or it might be yellow. We'll find out next year if they bloom then.

I seeded in 2 varieties of milkweed, Showy Milkweed (asclepias speciosa) and Narrow-leaved Milkweed (Asclepias fascicularis) that are native to Idaho and hopefully I will be able to attract some Monarch butterflies. I've also seeded in Zinnia, Calendula, Blue Flax, and Marigolds. Picked up a package of Crocus and put those in between the Hellebore, With any luck I should have a riot of color next year.

Breezy and cold out today, we got a bit of rain overnight, which was good as I'd put my hoses away and didn't have a way to water the new garden.

Decided to try my hand at writing something other than a blog, so I have an account on Medium where I have a couple short stories up already. Have had some visits, so we'll see how it goes.

I really should start figuring out a routine for when I retire next year. I've got a lot of downtime at the moment. I've been going thru my photo archives, trying to get them organized after the drive meltdown that left it in shambles. Hubby had backups of backups and when the drive puked I ended up with thousands of duplicate photos with odd file names and a lot of missing ones. I now have my photos back up in several different places and eventually will get everything organized. I hope LOL!
