There were quite a number of nesting pairs of Canada geese, several pairs with goslings:



Even caught one heading for the water:




The long lens on my camera really helped. There was no way in heck I was going to go in close to the island, not with several mommies and daddies giving us the evil eye while we were 15-20 from the island. LAST thing I wanted was to be dive bombed by pissed off geese!
