Stopped by a local park on the way home last night to give my new camera a good test. The place was filled with redwing blackbirds so I had lots of fun taking photos (tho now I know why a lot of pros have a couple cameras. Changing lenses can be a challenge, esp when the temp drops!). The males were singing and showing off trying to catch the eyes of the ladies:

WOW!!!! Can't wait to finish learning how to use the camera (still using auto) and getting out some night with the tripod and seeing what I can get for night shots.
