Here are the photos hubby took:
I found no sign of the frog when I got home, so either Rum Tum ate it, moved it elsewhere when he got bored with playing it or it wasn't all that dead and it got away. Needless to say, I did get some canned cat food to hopefully keep the decrease in the neighborhood wildlife down to a minimum (tho he's turned into quite the hunter so I suspect we'll see a BIG decrease inthe numbers of the slower, dumber critters. I really, really hope he doesn't dscover the goats down the end of the road).

Rum Tum is just following his genetic urges. The only time I'd start to worry, if I were you, is if he starts fishing from your neighbors' koi ponds, now that he has discovered water hunting...
On the other hand, if you could train him to bring home only the big ones, you could have a fish-supplemented diet...lol.
I figure once he finally gets his full growth he'll cut the predations on the neighborhood critters down to a hobby instead of sustanance. Until then I'll make sure he is definately getting proper nutrition just to make sure he isn't going without, he is growing like a weed after all.
J next door told me she saw Rum Tum and Nicky over by the horse pond hunting ducks on Sat morning. SIGH! Luckily the ducks stayed in the middle of the pond. I can definately see the two of them managing to bring down a duck.

You might be needing it soon (it's called "eating the evidence")...LOL!
