Whew, it's hot in Lewiston today

Went down to Lewiston/Clarkston to hit Costco, just needed to pick up a couple things, feta cheese, more chicken thighs, Kirkland dish liquid, flax seed oil caps and naproxine. The feta was $2.55 a lb, WAY cheaper then at Safeway or Winco, where it's closer to $5 a pound. I'll cut it up and vac seal it so it will last longer. They were having Hot August Nights in Lewiston, so the town was crawling with classic cars. We were thinking about stopping after Costco, but it had gotten too hot for us to be out. Next year we'll plan to go and be better prepared. Had lunch over in Clarkston, the Knight's Table Restaurant and Sports Bar. It is also a bowling ally and a casino (I suspect a charity casino, it's not on a reservation). It was one of those places that one is comfortable in. Hubby had the double double burger (double meat, double cheese) and it was delish. I usually rate a place on their french dip sandwiches. Not bad, I've had much better, but I've had lots worse and this I liked. The fries were very yummy and the waitress kept my ice tea full and had left the carafe of coffee for hubby, we like that touch. I also like a place where the wait staff know most of the people there, shows there is a lot of people who like to come in regularly. Stopped at a store that used to be a furniture place, they still sell some furnature, but 1/4 of the store was tools and such, there was an alcove for Sid's Sword Shoppe (there was a chain mail shirt, knee length for $300 and the coif was $50, not bad prices at all). Picked up a new grabber, the one we had is giving up the ghost (when it says it only picks up 5lbs, don't try and pull the 10 lb bag of flour off the top shelf heheheheh). Also got a shoulder bag for hubby, he's been looking for one with room and is easier to wear when in the wheelchair. This one should do the ticket. We also got me a folding knife, Jeff Gordon edition :D It's pretty decent, needs a little oiling, the action is stiff and came in a cool metal container. I went with the one in Dupont red instead of the one in Pepsi blue. Okay, we spent more in the shop then we planned, but you just GOTTA LOL. Bought a martini pitcher at Tri-State last night. We've been hunting high and low and thought we were going to have to order one online. We'd stopped into pick up some epoxy and expanding foam and while there I just wandered over to the glassware section and lo and behold, there it was. So we got home and we broke it in with mangotini's YUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YEEHAW!!!! Time for the race, the Sharpie 500 from Bristol. BOOGETY BOOGETY BOOGETY!!! LET'S GO RACING BOYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
