By Mike Weland
Law enforcement officers from around the county scrambled at about 4:07 p.m. this afternoon after receiving a report that two children missing from Wolf Lodge Bay near Coeur d'Alene may have been seen in downtown Bonners Ferry, and that a man with them, described as a 6'3" white male with scraggly brown hair, entered a downtown business and asked for directions to Libby.
-snip-
The children are said to riding in a dirty white or tan full-sized Chevy van with Washington license plates with the word "Shasta" on the front license frame above the license plate. Anyone who sees a van matching this description is asked to call the Boundary County Sheriffs Office, 208-267-3151, extension 21.
----- Update: Police have announced the sighting was incorrect. The boy who was spotted had long hair while Dylan has a crew cut
