Just finished Holes. I really enjoyed it, tho hubby wandered off half way thru it. It isn't his kind of movie. It IS mine however and I will admit I cried at the end (okay, I burst into tears at Hallmark commercials, but crying at the end of this movie was legit).
I haven't read the book, so don't know how the movie differs from it, but I usually avoid comparing movie adaptations to the origianl source material as there are somethings that you can't really transfer to the screen.
I will probably pick up the book sometime tho.
