What an interesting thing American politics is! In the House, Idaho's District 1 went blue, District 2 went blood red, and the Senate seat is red. Other states have similar divisions. Is it that people can't make up their minds, or is it that they don't trust their politicians, so they set 'em up to keep an eye on one another?

Keeping an eye on Minnesota (Al Franken's maiden). All precincts in, and less that 500 votes difference between Franken and the incumbent. I think it's safe to predict a re-count.

Americans can be very contrary when it comes to politics. but in this case, I think District 1 had enough Republicans who have had enough of Sali and his embarrassing of Idaho and voted the other way.
