"Mayor Nancy Chaney has asked for a legal opinion from the state attorney general's office on whether the city has the authority to ban both concealed and exposed weapons in such public areas."
Apparently neither she nor her staff can read English since the answer is right there in black and white in the Idaho Code. It's not like it is hidden somewhere that one MUST ask the state the question. For all of Idaho's attempts to stay in the stone age, it is extremely into the 21st Century when it comes to finding government info on the web.
