Sigh!

Four arrested in arson at school in Coeur d'Alene(edited to change the link to one people can get to. It is a very short version of what the Spokesman had).

One of them claims to be Wiccan. I cry bull dooky on her, she's no more Wiccan then I am the Queen of England.

Here's a clue Mz Wiccan Wannabe,Wiccans don't run around burning down schools, it is against the Rede, which you probably haven't even heard of. There is also the Three Fold Law, which I am so looking forward to seeing how it lands on your butt.

So here is a brief lesson:

The Wiccan Rede: "An ye harm none, do what thou wilt"

In plain English, do what you want as long as you don't harm others. Now Ms Clueless, you decided you wanted to burn down a building. I hate to tell you this, but this brings harm to others. Not only did someone own that building, it was a school and you decided it would be fun to burn it down. Not only did you bring harm to the owners of the building, you brought harm to the students who use the building AND you put the people who came to put out the flames into SERIOUS big time harm.

Big no no.

Now, here is where the Three Fold Law comes in:

"whatever energy a person puts out into the world, be it positive or negative, will be returned to that person three times".

Needless to say, besides the punishment you are going to get from the law, your karmic ass is grass.

Wannabes, SIGH!!!!!

Here is a list of a few books I recommend:

Addler, Margot. Drawing down the moon: witches, druids, goddess-worshippers, and other pagans. Beacon Press, 1986. (we recommend that you read this book first. It is a great overview of the pagan community today and the best place to start your studies)

Buckland, Raymond. Buckland's complete book of witchcraft. Llewellyn Publications, 1989.

Crowley, Vivian. Wicca: the old religion in the new age. The Aquarian Press, 1989.

Cunningham, Scott. Living Wicca: a further guide for the solitary practitioner. Llewellyn Publications, 1993.

Cunningham, Scott. Wicca: a guide for the solitary practitioner. Llewellyn Publications, 1988.

RavenWolf, Silver To ride a silver broomstick: new generation witchcraft. Llewellyn Publications, 1994.

Telesco, Patricia. The urban pagan: magical living in a 9-to-5 world. Llewellyn Publications, 1994.

I also have a pagan page with a bit of info on it. I do need to see about updating it one of these days.

I can't access the article; it's behind a registration requirement, and BugMeNot didn't work. But when I was finally able to get the front page showing, the first sentence read:

"A self-proclaimed devil worshipper, a reportedly disgruntled former student and two others were arrested Tuesday in connection with an early-morning fire."

Devil worshipper? When are these fool reporters/editors gonna get their heads outa their asses?

So...how's hubby doing?

Fribble, have to see if there is a different article I can post. I got to that one thru the Huckleberries blog (http://www.spokesmanreview.com/blogs/hbo/),
which is part of the newspaper.

The other kid busted claimed to be a Satan worshipper. I think that is where they got the "devil worshipper" description.

From the article:

"(Sgt)Wood said Smith told detectives she practiced the Wiccan religion and that Howry proclaimed he was a "Satan worshipper."

Smith is 16 and is being charged as an adult.

Hubby is doing much better, would have been nice to have found the stone, but outside of a sore tummy and his back, definately feeling fine.
