Didn't want to wake up this morning and really didn't want to come into work. Weather cleared up some this afternoon, the sun peeked out from behind the clouds for a while. Still breezy out, tho I don't think we got the high wind gusts they were predicting. Hubby took the flagpole down just in case. He's got it set so it swivels, making it easier to get it out of the wind.
Kitties are going to be very unhappy tonight, we take up the food at 8pm since Rum Tum goes in tomorrow to get edited. So they don't get breakfast until we get back ofter dropping him off at the vets. I don't think tomorrow is one of the days they are opend late, so hubby will have to go in and pick him up himself.
Called hubby a little while ago to remind him to start dinner. No answer, so he was either taking a nap or out and about. Hopefully he can get dinner started, otherwise we'll have to wait until we get home and it is a pork loin. Had it brined and in a ziplock with ranch seasoning mixed with a bit of water and olive oil. So it needs a couple hours in the 4 qt slow cooker to cook thru. If not I'll have to see what I can do in the oven with it. Luckily I was going to do a packet of noodle stuff for the side, so that doesn't take long.
Okay, he just called, he'd been napping, so he now got the pork loin on cooking.
Had to get caffeine at afternoon break, thought I was going to die. I usually don't do coffee after 11am, but today I REALLY needed it. At least now I don't feel like my brain has completely fuzzed out and the headach is beating a retreat.
I see on CNN the cops and prosecutors in Dedham, Massachusettsetts in the murder case involving a dominatrix got their hands slapped. Jury acquitted her. Words of advice you guys, if you have no blood, body, DNA or evidence of any kind and your cops lose their notes and the confession was obtained behind closed doors with no lawyer present AND you don't have it recorded on audio or videotaped to back you up, don't bother trying to take it to trial. It is plain to see the clowns they have out there couldn't find their asses in the dark with a compass, map and a flashlight. Only reason they brought her to trial is they had to blame someone for the guy disappearing, so they decided to haul in the chick who was into the kinky sex.
