Blech

Went to the "How Will Wal-Mart Affect Moscow's Economy?" talk sponsored by the Moscow Civic Assosiaction last night. I have informed everyone that in the future if I express and interest in going to future talks with the words "economics or economy" in them to kindly shoot me I had a raging headache, esp after the one gentleman started doing economics math (I think my eyes glazed over and I started drooling at one point) and I had to serious resist the urge to beat the older lady I was sitting next to to a pulp (such comments to her husband "SHE'S a liberal" when one lady got up to comment and ask a question and "what's she doing up there, SHE'S a banker!" in regards to one of the panel members. But I was raised to defer to my elders, even when they are idiots. My parents goofed in that regard).

Wet and rainy again today, it started coming down late last night, with wind. Needless to say, it wasn't a restful night and this morning was way too early.

Popping over to Pullman after work to get a DVD rack someone freecycled and we'll hit Winco on the way back to pick up some frozen fries and decafe chai tea. Maybe a couple other items to get us thru the week.

Hubby found some search and rescue software to try and recover those eaten pics. Found some, but most of them are gone. Teach us to wait to make backups onto CD.

Not sure what dinner tonight will be, I have some roast chicken left, I may pick up some alfredo packets and egg noodles for a cheap chicken alfredo or use the chicken for my lunch tomorrow and make burgers and fries. Something easy and brainless.

Speaking of brainless hehehehehehe, talking about the Semi-ho on another board got me to thinking I could do that kind of show better, cheaper and without all the simpering and mugging for the camera. I think tho I'm not going to do it in front of the camera, but maybe another blog (as if I NEED to be doing ANOTHER blog!, I've got two right now sitting in limbo I haven't done anything with of late). I'm thinking of something that takes off the shelf boxed stuff and other ingredients to make things and then slowly segue into more homemade stuff, kinda aimed at newbie cooks and anyone afraid of the kitchen with the eventual goal of whipping up yummy dishes and meals from scratch. Have to give that some serious thought.
