Finished "Skeleton Man" by Tony Hillerman. Not a bad book, tho not quite as satisfying as his previous ones. Not sure why, but it felt "lite" for some reason.
Currently have "St. Dale: a novel" by Sharyn McCrumb and thoroughly enjoying it. The Dale in the title is Dale Earnhardt Sr and the story revolves around a number of people on the inagural tour of the Dale Earnhardt Memorial Pilgrimage and NASCAR. I think even people who never even heard of NASCAR would enjoy this book, Sharyn is a favorite author of mine ("Bimbos of the Death Sun" is a wonderful send up of SF/F conventions with a murder mystery thrown in and her series with amatur sleuth Elizabeth MacPherson, is wonderful).
