Things did not go as well as I had planned. Seems the oven decided to crap out. The bottom element pretty much died, the turkey ended up over at the neighbor's house after several hours in my oven WAHHH!!
So instead of a nice dinner around 4, we ended up eating the food in shifts and finelly got the turkey after 7 pm WAHHH! I STILL haven't made the gravy and most of the stuffing dishes still have to be cookedWAHHH!
So much for fixing my mom a wonderful thanksgiving dinner. She understood, I'm sure she's had her share of dinner disasters. Hubby is going to take the oven apart today to see what happened.
