Students on campus are always bitching that there needs to be better pedistrian safetly on campus, yet they then insist on crossing the street, outside of the crosswalk and then walking diagonally across the street with their cell phone glued to their ear and not even paying attention to their surroundings. THEN they have the termenity to flip you the bird when you point out they should pay closer attention to what they are doing.
I think the solution to improving pedestrian safety is to allow us to hit the little shits with our vehicles and take them out of the gene pool alltogether. Then the others who actually have some brain cells will realize they have to take responsibility for their own safety and will obey pedestrian traffic laws (not to mention the laws of physics. I can't believe students made it to college without learning that a 1 ton vehicle takes longer to come to a stop then a 120 pound student).
