Discovered I was out of apple cider vinegar, so I did this one with vodka. Ended up using my good vodka, Blue Ice potato vodka, as I didn't have any cheap vodka. Need to seriously look at restocking my pantry and liquor cabinet.
Ah well, it will be a very good tincture when it is ready.
I also planted 5 of the medium sized rhizomes into a pot. Once they sprout and get a good size I will re-pot them into their own pots so they all have room to grow. Was looking at my bathroom window this morning and decided it would be perfect for putting a shelf up under for my turmeric plants. The bathroom is easy to keep humid if need be and the shelf will be out of the way. I am pretty sure I have everything I will need to hang the shelf this weekend.
