The reception for the Best of the Palouse Women Artists show at the LCAH was very nice and I had fun. Went with a black & white theme for my clothes to go with my black & white photos LOL! Here are the 3 photos I have on show: It was so cool seeing my photos hanging with the other art work. Chatting with one of the other women: Very well attended, there were also nibblies and drinks. Had a glass of merlot. Chatted with quite a few people, got lots of compliments on my photos. Can't wait to do this again! (so seriously good for my ego hehehehehehe!)

YARGGGHHH!!!!!

So the winds started this last weekend and needless to say, I want to live in a hobbit hole so I can sleep when it is windy out. Problem with living in a tin box is when the wind blows, you know it. When the wind REALLY blows you spend most of the night awake listening to it hammer on the bedroom wall (winds from the west and of course that is where our bedroom is) and hope the wall doesn't buckle in or the whole place falls off what ever foundation you've got. Outside of that, a pretty decent weekend. Had a print of Phoebe made at Costco and picked it up on Saturday. Still need to get some mat kits and that will be ready to go into the "Reigning Cats & Dogs" art show at the 1912 Center in February. I'll be also entering a pic of Scrapper. Mostly puttered this weekend. Put away most of the holiday sparklies, so the living room looks a little blah. Keeping a bunch of the lights up for the time being tho, so we have sparklie lights. Set up a Facebook page

Harassed for Taking Photos

Harassed for Taking Photos " In October 2009 Shawn Nee, an award-winning photographer, was stopped by officers from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department (LASD) while taking pictures of turnstiles in the L.A. subway. According to the officers, Nee was engaged in "suspicious terrorist activity."

Still waiting for my jet pack

Not too mention my flying car. I will settle for Rosie the Robot if I can't get the other two. 2014 is good so far, tho I managed to get sick just before the New Year, so with luck that will be a good sign the rest of the year will be good and healthy. Sales thru my Zazzle shop have started well, a couple sales within the 1st week of the year. I've a couple shows coming up, the 1st will be at the Lewiston Center for Arts and History, it is a best of show for Palouse Women Artists, I have 3 of my best black & white photos in. That show opens the end of January, more details later. Then the 191 Center will be hosting a show called "Reigning Cats & Dogs", so I will be submitting a photo to that. That show will be in February, so more details on that later. Enjoying the (relatively) warm weather, we got a skiff and a bit of snow last night. More predicted, but then rain, but looks to be a fairly dry winter this year. Still slowly decluttering, I need to se
