Day 1

Only one cup of coffee this morning, had slight pressure of incipient headache. LARGE mug of lemon blossom herbal tea for the rest of the morning.

Withdrawing from caffeine can trigger headaches, too, because it is physically addicting. It's kind of a damned if you, damned if you don't situation for awhile. Try tapering off -- doing lite (1/2 the usual caffeine) coffee and see if that helps. I can't handle high test coffee any more (headaches), but figured out the reduced caffeine let me get my morning coffee fix without tasting as nasty as totally caffeine free.

I'm going to taper off, just reduce the amount of coffee as each day goes. Luckily I have a good supply of herbal and caffeine free teas. I pretty much only drink coffee for the caffeine kick anyways, not for the flavor (which is why I always drink my coffee adulterated, can't stand it straight, GAAK!!).
