Follow the money

So who is sponsoring the 10th International Congress on Obesity 2006? A whole lotta companies with a vested interest in selling things to fat people to try and make them thin (most with a very miserable success rate. There is no profit in people who actually like themselves, so these companies have to come up with epidemics and pandemics to panic people in to buying their crap.

Here's a tidbit, everyone in the world is now "pre-hypertensive" and "pre-diabetic" since the drug companies are now trying to get people who don't have these problems onto medications so they can sell more.

Aventis is also one of those giant chemical companies that plays with, "invents," and markets genetically-modified foods and terminator seeds. They, Novartis, and Monsanto are well on their way to controlling the food supply for the entire planet. Doesn't that make you feel all warm and fuzzy, knowing that they control all your food?

Oh, by the way...we are not alive at all. We are pre-dead.

Hehehe, yeah, somone on one of my fat groups pointed out that given all the new definitions coming from Big Pharma we are definately "pre-dead" :P

There is a definate reason I am wokring on either growing my own food, buying as local as possible and catching what I can. Big Ag is gettign very, very scary!
