I WANNA GO PLAY!!!!!!

Sunshine and 60F right now. Way too nice to be stuck inside. The sun had come out late yesterday afternoon and it was sooooo nice.

We stopped at Winco to pick up one of their fried chicken dinners. Hubby's client yesterday paid him extra and told him to take me out to dinner :D As much as going to a restaurant would have been nice, Winco fried chicken sounded better, plus it gave me leftovers for lunch. I brought a couple parmasean bagels from Costco, some cream cheese and a chicken breast. I'll toast the bagels, slather with cream cheese and shred the chicken on to make a couple sandwiches. I'm really wishing I'd gotten an avacado, that would go great on them. I'm now getting the brilliant idea of making an avacado spread with cream cheese in the future, that would REALLY be yummy on a toased bagel.

Never did get out to work in the yard last night. By the time we got home with dinner and then one of hubby's clients dropped by it was a little late. Maybe tonight. Instead we ate dinner and watched a couple of episodes of House that we have on the DVR and then an episode of Mythbusters.

Anxiously awaiting the local paper later today. The one Spokane news channel teased us with a story out of Moscow about a hostage situation. Of course there is NOTHING local (so what's new?), so we'll have to see if the local rag actually has anything. If hubby gets home early enough, I may have him record the 5 o'clock news to see if we can find out what was happening. The news bit said it had been going on several hours and it sounded like it make have been a domestic problem that got a little out of hand and the cops were just waiting the person out.

Okay, pays to look at the Lewiston Tribune site:

"A standoff between Latah County sheriff's deputies and an alleged aggravated battery suspect continues today at a residence northeast of Moscow.
According to a sheriff's office report, deputies were called to the residence Tuesday night and the suspect refused to come out.
Members of the Latah County Tactical Response Team remain at the scene and
negotiators are reportedly in contact with the man."

Okay, not a hostage situation, good. So a patient wait for the guy to come out and let himself get taken into custody situation. Hopefully it ends peacfully.

Okay, standoff ended peacefully after 17 hours. This is good.
