and lay your hands on the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich if you haven't already read them. Stephanie is a gal from the Burg who lands a job working as a bail bonds enforcer (bounty hunter) by blackmailing her cousin Vinnie. Complicating everything is she isn't the best bounty hunter in the world, is afraid of guns and can't choose between Ranger and Joe Morelli, the two guys in her life (tho personally I think she should just chose both :D ). Rounding out the cast of her adventures are her Grandma Mazur, Lulu the ex-hooker and the assorted residents of the Burg and her own family.
The series is up to number 11, Eleven on Top and even tho I haven't finished reading it, I am anxiously awaiting number 12 hehehehehehe
