It was snowing when we got up this morning, tho none of it was sticking. We got sunshine this afternoon, but ut really hasn't warmed up much, low 40s. Weather this weekend is supposed to be icky. I MIGHT be able to get some garden work done this weekend, but it might be between raindrops. Oh well, I can at least get all my tomato starts repotted.
Today was Vandal Friday at the U. Lots of high school kids and parents wandering around campus. The day is for kids either coming to the U or thinking about coming to school here.
Can't seem to think of much to write about today, tho my brain is buzzing. Lunch today was tomato soup with cheese, tho I really shouldn't call it cheese. It was sliced processed cheese stuff. Which brings to mind, has anyone noticed that when they run the Kraft Singles commericals, nowhere do they use the word cheese. All they talk about is how much milk and calcium is in each slice hehehehehe. Oh well, it is still tasty stuff and makes great grilled cheese sandwiches.
Gas prices are creeping up locally, regular unleaded is $2.139. This keeps up we'll have to reactivate the insurance on the Escort and switch the tags from the Subaru over to it. Or at least get new tags for it and do the insurance so we have an alternative car to drive around locally. The only think is, the wheelchair is a bitch to haul in and out of hte trucnk of the Escort.
I don't know how we got on the subject, but hubby mentioned that an organization a friend works for was looking for an office manager. I haven't found if they have it posted anywhere to find out what the salary and benefits are. I've spent most of the afternoon imagining working somewhere other then here. Not sure if I would want to get another job, I quite like it here (not to mention the fringe benefit of all the books I could ever want to read hehehehe). I may look into it tho, doing something else might be neat (but only if they can pay LOTS more then what I am getting now, not too mention medical bennies as good or better).
