My weekend so far

Spokane is out of the questions this weekend, maybe in a couple of weeks. So today has been a fairly laid back day. Got the air mattress pumped up some more, straighten up the living room, some of the bedroom and the kitchen. I've currently got beer batter resting in anticipation of chicken nuggets later and we've just come back from an errand and a little bit of geocaching.

What is geocaching you may ask? Well, it is me and hubby's new hobby :D Hubby's best friend in Canada is into it and told hubby about it and then hubby chanced on a good deal on a GPS unit and we decided that geocaching would be just the ticket for us. It would give us a really good excuse to get out of the house more often (we can only go out to the range so many times before we seriously start running out of ammo LOL), a great way to really explore the county, some fun ways to make trips out of town more interesting and a really fun way to get some fresh air and exercise. We hit the 3 easiest ones in and around town. One was a 2 parter and the 1st part was at the cemetary where we needed to find a specific grave and then find the answer to a question, the next was to find the spot related to the person who was buried inthe grave. The 2nd one was an actual cache. That was fun. Found the cache and signed our names and todays date on the piece of paper in the cache.
The 3rd was a virtual cache, we'll report the info we found back to the person who "set" it up to make sure we were right when we followed the clue.

We picked up some tokens at the dollar store to leave in the bigger caches. The one we found today is a micro cache, not big enough to leave anything. I can't wait to go out and find more caches.
