As much as I loathe Martha Stewart, she is getting a raw deal by the courts. I just read that despite a government expert witness being nailed for perjuring himself during her trial and a juror who stated afterwards that he got on the jury for the sole purpose of finding her guilty, she is being refused a new trial.
That is patently unfair and REALLY shows how f&%$ked up our legal system is :mad:
