Why, oh why is it so darned difficult for people to flush the damned toilet?!?!?!?! Are they flushing impaired? Did they grow up in a place where the toilets all flushed themselves? Did they not have flush toilets at all and are unfamilier with the concept? Or are they so rich they hired people to flush the toilet for them and just forgot to have them with them?

Does this only happen in women's bathrooms, or are some men flushing impaired also? But why? Don't people like the sound, so they won't flush, or are they so afraid of germs they don't want to touch the handle in public bathrooms? My one grandmother had this thing about germs so she'd grab a bit of TP and use that to grab the handle to flush. She also used paper towel to turn the water faucett's on and off when she washed her hands. That was going a bit too far in the fear of germs as far as I am concerned.
