if you are going to call the cops to report a burglary, put any and all pot plants somewhere other then out in the living room
Seems a couple of local kids called the cops to report a burglary and when the Sheriff's deputies arrived, noticed a couple of pot plants sitting in the living room. Cops then got written permission from the kids to search the house and they found a bag of seeds and a small grow room (of course, the way the cops tend to inflate the amount and dollar worth of any drugs they find, it was probably a couple more plants and a grow light). Now both kids are now charged with manufacture (how the hell can you manufacture a living organism ) marijuana for sale.
With luck, they will get a decent lawyer who can plead them down to a misdemeanor charge.
Personally, marijuana needs to be decriminalized and treated like tobacco. Imagine all the tax revenue the government can generate
